Due to the lack of recent interest in the University Barbarians website, it has been relocated here, on my personal webspace. Due to this the forums have been taken down, but fear not! The University UKPSF forum has a very active University Barbarians forum there:

20/08/06 - UKM Round 8
Thanks to the guys who came down to play for the UKM round 8 at Lincoln, we all had a great time despite disappointing placing in the table. Team training sessions are going to be starting soon to try and get us more cohesive and start winning more games!
Due to the Inter-uni league starting up soon, we are still discussing which event we shall enter next.

05/08/06 - Sponsorship deal take 2!
We are proud to annouce that we now have another sponsor, the lovely people at Buff Movement (www.buffmovement.com) are now sponsoring us by giving us their casual wear for cheap so that we can pimp it at all the tourneys we go to. We may even be getting proper jerseys soon too ;).
You can also see that I have got off my arse and integrated the sponsor's images into the headers for both the site and the forum. Enjoy!
16/07/06 - First tournament played! UKM round 7
Yesterday was our first outing as the University Barbarians at round 7 of the UK Masters. We played in div 3 and as a scratch team did not do too badly. That is not to say that we did particularly well, only winning two games and drawing one, but we certainly held our own. Next event is round 8 of the UKM where we hope to field two teams. See you there!
Sponsorship deal
The University Barbarians are please to announce a sponsorship deal with Tomahawk Paintballs and their UK distributor Warped Sports. We are very grateful for this and would like to thank Warped Sports for their confidence in the team.
We will be using Tomahawk paint at the UK masters where we shall debut in july while proudly wearing the Warped Sports and Tomahawk logos.
Shortly there will be an shower of Tomahawk and Warped Sports logos adorning our banners and links page (which shall come soon), look out for them!

Forums now up
Our forums have just gone live. There is not much going on there quite yet but don't let that stop you, introduce yourself in our Member introduction forum. Tell us a bit about yourself and show us what you look like!
Who are we and what do we want?
We are a team comprised of university students from all over the UK. We plan to act along-side the Inter-University league, which is starting next term, to compete in some other events, both home and potentially abroad. We however are putting the Inter-uni league first. We fill in for the times at which there are no events. Find out more in the About Us section of the website
